Strong beginnings.
In the first three years, children are building far more than skills. They are learning whether the world feels safe, whether their voice is heard and whether they can trust the people around them. That is where our Under 3 program begins.
Before children explore, they need to belong.
Our educators take time to know each child’s cues, routines, comforts, interests and emerging personality. Care moments are not interruptions to learning—they are some of its most important moments. A familiar face, an unhurried nappy change, a shared story or a reassuring cuddle all help build the security from which confidence grows.
🌱 Seedlings
Gentle routines, responsive care, sensory discovery and close connection support babies as they begin to make sense of their world.
🐛 Crawlers
As mobility and language emerge, children are encouraged to investigate, communicate and test what their growing bodies can do.
🌼 Pods
Independence blossoms through choices, imaginative play, friendships, self-help skills and plenty of opportunities to say, “I can do it.”
Curiosity is the curriculum’s starting point.
Children learn through movement, repetition, messy play, music, language, nature and everyday problem-solving. Educators observe closely, then extend an interest at the right moment—adding a new material, a new word, a question or simply enough time to keep trying.
Care that respects individual rhythms.
Sleep, meals, comfort and transitions are approached in partnership with families. We want children to experience continuity between home and Caterpillar Kidz, while gradually gaining the confidence and independence that comes with feeling deeply known.
Next comes Cocoons.
As confidence grows, curiosity expands into bigger ideas, friendships and purposeful play.
