About Caterpillar Kidz
Early learning with heart, purpose and people at its centre.
Children thrive when they feel safe, known, valued and inspired.
Caterpillar Kidz is a family-owned and operated Early Learning Centre & Kindergarten provider built around genuine relationships — between children and educators, families and our team, and each centre and the community around it.
Welcome to Caterpillar Kidz.

Built from experience. Growing with purpose.
Caterpillar Kidz grew from years of hands-on experience in early childhood education and care.
Our journey began through Kidz R Kidz Early Learning Centre & Kindergarten in Cranbourne North, where we developed a deep understanding of what families value when choosing care for their children — trust, consistency, strong educators, meaningful learning and knowing that someone genuinely cares about their child’s experience.
Caterpillar Kidz represents the next chapter of that journey.
As we grow, our aim isn’t simply to operate more childcare centres. It is to create early learning communities where children can develop confidence, curiosity and a genuine love of learning — while families feel welcomed, heard and connected.
Children first. Families alongside us. Learning with purpose.

The family behind Caterpillar Kidz
Caterpillar Kidz is owned and operated by Sharokh Bharucha and Anvi Ved.
For us, being family-owned is more than a description of our business. It influences how we think about the responsibility that comes with caring for someone else’s child.
We know families are placing enormous trust in an early learning service. That is why we believe ownership should remain connected to what happens inside our centres — listening to families, supporting our teams, maintaining high expectations and continually looking for ways to make the experience better for children.
We want Caterpillar Kidz to grow without losing the personal connection that made us want to build it in the first place.
Our names are behind our centres, but more importantly, we stand behind them.

Owners & Operators, Caterpillar Kidz
Childhood isn’t something to rush through.
Children are naturally curious, capable and full of potential. Our role is to create the relationships, experiences and environments that allow them to discover what they can do.
Children are capable
Every child brings their own personality, interests, strengths and way of seeing the world. We notice those differences and build from them.
Relationships come first
Warm, responsive relationships give children the confidence to explore, communicate, take appropriate risks and develop a strong sense of belonging.
Learning should have purpose
We combine play-based learning with intentional teaching so children can enjoy childhood while building strong foundations for what comes next.
Families are partners
Open communication and genuine partnership help us understand each child more deeply and provide learning and care that reflects who they are.
What family-owned means here.
More than a label.
You’ll see the words family-owned and operated on many childcare websites. For us, those words should mean something.
Remaining connected to our centres and the people within them.
Making decisions around children — not from a distant corporate office.
Listening when families have something to say.
Supporting educators to do their best work.
Taking personal responsibility for the standards we set.
Creating places where children can belong and thrive.
Everything we do comes back to the children entrusted to our care.
Safety & Wellbeing
Physical and emotional safety sit at the centre of our decisions.
Quality Educators
Caring, capable and engaged educators who genuinely know children.
Individual Learning
Strengths, interests and next steps recognised.
Inclusion & Respect
Every child and family should feel welcome.
Always Improving
We continually reflect on how we can make the experience better.
One philosophy. Different communities.
Every community is different — and we think that’s something to embrace. Each Caterpillar Kidz centre develops its own relationships, educators, families and connection with its local community.

A website can tell you about our philosophy. But the best way to understand Caterpillar Kidz is to walk through one of our centres, meet the people who will know your child and experience the environment for yourself.
Excellence in Every Beginning.
