Incursions

Incursions form an important part of the learning experience within the program, offering children access to a wide range of engaging and educational opportunities without leaving the comfort and safety of the centre.

A variety of incursions are thoughtfully included throughout the year, exposing children to areas such as STEM, safety awareness, health and wellbeing, and real-life skills in a fun and interactive way. These include experiences such as animal encounters, STEM-based workshops, body safety sessions, recycling and sustainability programs, dance and sports activities, music sessions, cooking experiences, and dental education visits.

All incursions are carefully planned and tailored to suit the ages, developmental stages, and interests of the children, ensuring they are both meaningful and engaging. By bringing these experiences into the centre, children are able to explore new concepts, ask questions, and build confidence in a familiar environment, enriching their learning and supporting their overall development.
